From Italy with Love! Serving delicious Sicilian style pizzas, pastas, salads & sandwiches for over 40 years. Started in Corona del Mar, CA by Gina Costa, we still faithfully honor Gina's recipes and traditions. Slow cooking all of our dishes and sauces from the finest ingredients and making almost all of our recipes from scratch. Gina's Pizza & Pastaria Irvine opened in 2001 and was remodeled in 2016. Gina's features a beautiful outdoor patio that seats 45 and pub style seating adjacent to our 16 craft beer taps. We constantly rotate our craft beer selection and offer both familiar favorites and some hard-to-get selections. Gina's Irvine offers takeout & delivery, 7 days a week. Here "4th Christmas Day" eaten with friends, however, both the food and service quality was below standard. It started with a 10-minute wait before a drink order was taken and then a long wait before the food could be ordered. Cards were closed on the table; the signal seems to me. Subsequently, the food order was processed incorrectly, simple pizzas how difficult it can be (an unfinished pizza, one completely wrong and one without ham). When everything was returned, they quickly popped up the pizzas and quickly threw some ham on them. No service recovery after that, nobody interested. That something goes wrong is okay, after all, it is a memsen business. But not being able to follow up properly indicates no service quality and no heart for the guests. People with a real passion for service would be embarrassed.All in all not recommended, regrettable experience both in food quality and service quality. Both really need to be in better order.
